The woodland soldier deals with the most undead compared to the other genres of person you can find in THE BADLANDS.  The woodland soldier stays primarily in the woods, hence the name; feeding off of anything they can get their hands on. Fruit, birds, wild boar, etc. The WoodlandSoldier outfit has many nature inspired elements, it’s needed because they live in the woods! You need to camouflage..

Cities are where the main population of the undead reside, the woodland being the second main population. Having silent weapons is the number 1 way of survival here, hence the katana.

The main inspiration for this outfit is “nature growing.” Imagine having clothes left out over a long period of time, so much that nature begins to grow on them. 

The sea scout deals with the least amount of the undead compared to the other genres of person you can find in the badlands. Sea scouts primarily stay on the water, only leaving their boats to scavenge for on-shore items like canned goods and medical supplies. The sea scout diet consists mostly of what’s found while on the water such as fish and water birds. Being on the water doesn’t mean the possibility of encountering an undead is completely ruled out, they’re able to float and stay underwater. 

The SeaScout outfit is inspired by nature growing, but with the elements of being on the water coming into play.

The Mystic is a completely unique and rare spectacle found in THE BADLANDS. Not many of this genre of person are found, they also can’t be found if you’re looking for them. They are found when they want to be. The Mystic travels like the wind, they can be everywhere and nowhere. Most of the time residing in the mountain tops, their diet consists mainly of rations.

The mystic knew what was going to happen before it did, so they prepared a year in advance. Buying as much preserved food, weapons, and medical supplies as needed before the world went to shit. 

The mystic’s weapons consist of potions, crystals, and most importantly their mind. The potions and crystals just enhance the powers the mind already holds. The Mystic has been working to find a cure for the undead virus, most of the time only interacting with the undead on their own terms. 

The Mystic has been bitten before, thankfully they were able to heal the wound before the virus took over the brain. The only thing is.. it turned some of the Mystic’s hair bright green.
